Habilitation Application for Admission
If you want to submit an application for admission as a candidate for habilitation, please contact the dean's office (habilitation office) before submitting your application. The submission deadlines of the habilitation conference for applications can be found on the habilitation conference's website.
Submission of Application for Admission as Habilitation Candidate
For an application for admission as habilitation candidate, please submit the following documents as separate, individually numbered (1-10) PDF-documents electronically via download-link (preferably via heiBOX) to dekanat@verkult.uni-heidelberg.de
Please note that only complete applications can be processed.
- form: application for acceptance (available in German in the download area)
- form: declaration (Declaration of any other ongoing, abandoned or completed habilitation. Declaration, whether the pursuit of a profession that is in close connection to the habilitation project is prohibited by court order. Declaration of criminal and disciplinary court convictions and pending criminal and disciplinary proceedings.) (available in German in the download area)
- CV which showcases your scientific career / development
- complete list of publications
- form: overview of taught courses (available in German in the download area)
- personnel sheet with photo (see Link „to the personnel sheet“)
- copy of doctoral degree certificate
- doctoral dissertation
- exposé of habilitation project
- memorandum (you will receive a template from the habilitation office)
